LED Bulbs
LEDs, otherwise known as light-emitting diodes, are a modern form of electronic lighting. Unlike traditional bulbs including incandescent and halogen lamps which have been around for many years, LEDs offer superior performance with an extensive lifespan that consumes significantly less energy while omitting minimal amounts of heat. They require mere little maintenance due to their durable composition without any fragile elements like glass tubes or filaments; making them both safe and reliable alternatives since they do not contain hazardous materials such as mercury or lead. Due to its growing popularity, LED technology has now become readily available in various fittings including GU10, B22, E27and MR16 types among others.
What is a LED Bulb?
LEDs are a new type of light that use less energy and last longer than regular bulbs like incandescent or halogen lamps. They're tough, too - with no delicate glass filaments to worry about breaking if you accidentally drop them. Plus, unlike some older types of lighting that contained dangerous chemicals like lead or mercury which could harm our health when disposed improperly; LED bulbs don't have these harmful substances inside either -- making this technology not only efficient but safer for everyone.
LED bulbs are available in various sizes and shapes, making them compatible with different types of light fixtures including conventional lamps. It is now possible to find LED bulbs in various common fittings types e.g GU10, B22 and E27 among others offering greater flexibility for consumers when choosing their preferred light source models.
Eco-friendly LED Bulbs
Switching to LED lights can help reduce carbon emissions. This happens because they consume less energy than incandescent or CFL bulbs, meaning less fossil fuels and oil get burned at power plants that produce electricity. And since the burning of fuel releases harmful CO2 into the atmosphere, using LEDs minimizes this negative effect on our planet. Plus, LED bulbs are a more efficient way to light up your space - unlike their inefficient counterparts, LED do not waste energy by converting excess amounts of it into heat that is released into the environment - meaning no wasted energy!
Dimmable Option for LED Bulbs
LED bulbs consume much less energy than halogen ones, which is excellent for reducing your electricity expenses. However, it's important to note that LED bulbs are incompatible with regular dimmer switches and might result in a buzzing noise along with a shorter lifespan and lower illumination output. To avoid these issues, make sure you use a specific dimming switch compatible with LED bulbs called trailing edge dimmers. These types of switches have lower minimum loads and are designed especially for LEDs in order to perform at their best capacity.

LED Bulbs Colour Temperature
Warm White
Ranging from 2000K to 3000K, the light is referred to as "warm white," exhibiting hues that shift from orange to yellow-white.
Cool White
Bulbs that fall within the range of 3100K to 4500K are known as "cool white" or "bright white", producing a more neutral shade of white light with a possible subtle bluish hue.
Daylight
Going higher than 4500K takes us to the realm of “daylight” color temperature. If you choose bulbs with temperatures of 4500K or more, they'll emit blue-white light that resembles natural daylight.
LED Bulbs for Outdoors
LED lights work great in low temperatures and harsh outdoor conditions, which is not possible with CFL bulbs. Besides, LED bulbs are robustly designed to last long even under tough circumstances as they can endure external impacts without getting damaged. As they have shock-absorbing features, LEDs make an excellent option for outdoor lighting setups.
Will my LED bulbs work in my existing fittings?
Absolutely! Our LED bulbs are designed to be a perfect fit for your existing light fittings, so you can easily switch them out with no trouble at all. If you're looking to install any bulbs in your bathroom, it's important to make sure that they meet the relevant building regulations. This means ensuring that the fittings are both fire-rated and waterproof, holding certification of IP65 or higher for maximum safety and compliance.
Try out LED light bulbs and enjoy the benefits of modern lighting! These bulbs offer high-performance, long lifespan, and energy efficiency—making them perfect for any lighting needs. Plus, they're safer since there are no fragile elements or hazardous materials compared to traditional ones.
