The tubular light bulb is popular among commercial consumers due to its high light output and efficiency. Its long, cylindrical shape makes it ideal for street lighting, floodlighting, and warehousing applications where brightness should be dominant. Interestingly, it also consumes very little energy while providing excellent illumination that lasts longer than other bulbs, especially the high-pressure sodium varieties renowned for their longevity. HID tubular light bulbs come with specific control gear needed for proper operation but once installed they offer unbeatable performance in terms of brightness and durability.
